hmm, in life or in my research?

For my work, hopefully it will discover some new factors in how my specific type of bad e.coli (EAEC) attaches to and grows in human guts. For example, I might identify some genes it needs to do this properly. With that sort of knowledge it is easier for scientists to understand the process and come up with ways to fight it and protect us from disease.

As for in life, I’d like to finish my PhD on time (3 and a half years to go, sounds a lot but will go way too fast!). After that, who knows? A successful career and happy personal life I guess 🙂
