I’m not sure what you mean about “improve”. Is science something you like? I would say: focus on enjoying it. Passion for science will take you to higher grounds!

I agree with Cristiane, if you enjoy science it is easier to keep learning more about it. As for tips, don’t be afraid to ask questions, not only will it help you understand something but there are probably others in the class who also didn’t get it but were too afraid to say anything!

I also recommend using the internet to learn more about your favourite topics, there are so many resources out there now. Youtube is especially good for this, with channels such as Scishow always posting interesting videos 🙂

Doing something you love never seems like a chore, so find something you enjoy and take it as far as you can. Read books, watch tv shows about it, og on the internet! There’s so much information out there just waiting to be found.
A good scientist knows loads about what they research, but can also see the bigger picture and where their work sits in the scientific community as a whole, so it’s really good to have a broad knowledge in science.

If you’re looking for a fun way to learn more about different areas in science, try Youtube. I particularly love the channels ASAPScience, Veritasium, The Royal Institution and the Royal Society. Try some of these and see how you get on 🙂

Focus on the enjoyment! Passion and enthusiasm and a questioning attitude will get you very far. Never be scared to question.

I concur with my esteemed colleagues. Do what you love. Passion is the ultimate driver. If you’re passionate about your work, it’s probably not worth doing (or you just need some motivation). 🙂
