I guess you have to go to college and then enroll at an university.
If you are interested in science, I suggest you get in touch with a local university/research institute. You could do a short work experience to get an idea of what it is like to be a scientist. And while you’re there, you could talk face-to-face with other scientists. That should give you a good idea whether you want to pursue a scientific career or not.
The same goes for any other career: Get in touch with people doing the job you want to do (don’t be afraid, the worst thing that can happen is them saying “No”) and ask if you can do a work experience there.
Talk to your teacher about that too.
      I hope that helped.

The normal route is A-levels then university to do a science degree. Then you can either try and do a PhD or go straight into a lab as some sort of research assistant. There are other ways of getting into science of course, especially if you don’t necessarily want to be a researcher, such as jobs like working in science publishing or law.
