• Question: do you do any really explosive experiments

      Do you mean explosive as in exciting? Or explosive as in potentially blowing myself up?
      The first one: Definitely 🙂
      The second one: I handle many flammable liquids (mostly alcohols of different percentages) and often have a source of fire (Bunsen burner) close by. But if you follow the rules and guidelines, that is all pretty safe work (well, as safe as it gets). During my time at university we did a lot of chemistry classes where we handled quite dangerous (i.e. explosive) substances: That was tense! And fun 🙂
