• Question: Can any of you guys code, if so, what use is it to you in your job?

      I do code, it’s the basis of my work!
      The bulk of my time is spent developing an algorithm to model the distribution of UV light in different water treatment chambers (different shapes, sizes, lamps, positions, intensities, turbidity (murkiness of the water), wavelengths of light). Coding is also super useful for data analysis once I’ve got my results.
      I couldn’t do my PhD without coding 😀
