I will probably want to stay in the field of bacterial diseases, but I would quite like to work on projects more relevant to diseases that are a major problem in the developing world. I previously studied a parasite that causes illness in parts of Africa, and found that very motivating.

The burden of disease is one of the issues limiting the development of many poorer countries, so it would be nice to contribute to solving those problems 🙂

Yes of course, although I would like to stay in my current field (plant genetics). What exactly do I want to do? To be honest, I’m not too sure about that right now.
Sorry that I can’t be of more help.

I would love to work on soon many different things, there is just not enough time. I would love to now be able to work in ancient DNA, its such a cool area.

I’d love to get into robotics and AI, the idea of producing an intellect far greater than our own really excites me. It could bring about a host of advances that would simply be too complex for a human to conceive or control
