My advice would be to give science (or any other subject you like) a fair chance, i.e. be open minded. Try to do a work experience at a university or research institute: That will give you a good look insight. If you don’t like it at all, then don’t pursue it as a career (that goes for any job). Find something that you like and turn it into a career.
      Hope that helps.

As Nikolai says, try it out and see if you enjoy it. Ideally, get some experience in a lab or even an organisation that deals with science or nature conservation and see if it gets your interest going. I also think that the way some science is taught in schools can be quite ‘dry’. I was never interested in science at school, I don’t even have a science O or A level, it was only as a Masters student that I started to get into it. Because I wasn’t good at maths, I thought science wasn’t for me. I’m still not great at maths but I get by to do what I do, much of my work does not need loads of maths, but to does need a logical mind. Ironically, I think my training as a classicist and ancient historian was probably just as valuable! Its really never too late to find that you enjoy science though, don’t feel you need to make a decision now.
      Hope this helps.

Finding a job is all about finding something you enjoy, if you feel that you need convincing then it may not be for you.

Personally, I love what I do, I spend every day solving problems and exploring new ideas, it’s so amazing to be one the leading edge of what we know
