I cycle to work every day, which is pretty much all of my health regime. I try to eat a balanced diet, i.e. something of everything, but of course I indulge myself with some treats (probably too often :D).
I try to make sure I walk a lot and not drive to work. I like to get out and about at the weekend too. I try to be careful about what I eat and have lots of fresh fruit and vegetables.
Stay happy 🙂
Our bodies are weird things and react in complex ways to a variety of stimuli.
One thing that we do know is that being happy can have a lot of positive effects. When we’re happy we’re less stressed, and stress levels are linked to lots of negative effects including poor diet, mental health issues, sickness… etc..
When we’re happy we also work better, so have to spend less time at our desk and can get out and have more fun (e.g. sport); we also have more energy to focus on positive life choices, such as better diet (no comfort eating or snacking), exercise and socialising. So smile away 🙂
I was pretty lazy at university, but now I am working full-time I am trying to be healthier in general. Part of this is eating lots more fruit, and less unhealthy meals. I also took up running this year, which is going pretty well. And at the moment I am helping set up a five-a-side football team at work, so that should be lots of good exercise 🙂
